Why Christmas Trees?

Imagine this… kids piled in the back of the Ute, driving through mallee scrub, keeping eyes peeled, hand saw in hand ready to spot that perfect tree. A centre piece for our family Christmas. The excitement, the tradition and the anticipation of Christmas ready to burst at the seams.

You finally find the perfect tree, dad gets the saw out to cut it down but first you need to measure if it will even fit in the house (don’t worry we had a few bent over on the ceiling over the years!). You pile it into the back of the Ute and head back to the house. Then the next fun bit begins, the decorating with miss matched ornaments, made by the family over the years, each one with a special place in our hearts.

It’s this exact feeling that I want to share with you all. The excitement, the tradition, the connection of family in a time of year that can become all too stressful.

We have our first trees in the ground, ready for Christmas 2026 🌲
